Hi everyone I am on here in need of help with a few bills..I am currently unemployed due to layoff from job after 6 yrs..and i have a 5 yr old daughter.i really need help with my electric which is 125.00 and my rent is 300.00 if someone will please help us we wwould be blessed thanks for looking..

My family is facing eviction, which we have to be out in a month unless we can come up with some of the rent before the 13 of this month.. The kids are young, and are having to go without things. Like food, using cloth diapers on my 2 year old little brother because we can't afford real diapers. This isn't a scam, or me just wanting money, this is real. I have the eviction notice, as well as bills if anyone wants to check up on it.. but PLEASE go to this site, and if a few hundred people just donate a dollar, then maybe (even if we do have to get out) we will be able to afford food, and temporary shelter. I don't have the extra money to pay for these kits and all that. I have good phone and people skills. I am willing to work hard. I am also looking to find some suport groups for Anxiety,DomesticViolence, coping with loss.

Okay, so here's my story. It all started in 2004, when we sold our trailer for a house in a small neighbor hood right across from the park, and not even a block from the school. We needed a bigger home for our family. We had four children, and me and my husband. We thought this would be a wonderful place for them. We were doing good, my husband had built up our credit, he had been at the same job since we first met and it all was looking so bright. When we found this house, it had two bedrooms, and a full basement, which we had planned on adding two more rooms. We bought the house at a very good price since it was a repo. We then turned around and refinanced to have extra money to build the rooms and do some re-modeling. Right after that, things just seemed to go sour.

My husband went right to work on the house. He redid all the plumbing, since he worked for a place that supplies electricians, plumbers, and so forth. He got the products at cost, so it would help on the budget side of things. My father is an electrician, and my grandfather did construction. We called on both of them for their help. When we started working on the framing of the rooms, we had to remove a piece of concrete that covered the old plumbing and that's when we found out that there was water in the cinder blocks of the basement. We had to stop all work and my grandfather, God bless him, had drove all the way down from Omaha, Nb to help, so it was kinda a total loss for him. Our basement started filling up with water....or what we thought was water. A few days later, the toilet started clogging up. We called a plumber in and then we found out that the sewer system was old. It had pipes that were made of the old orange clay stuff and they had colapsed. Apparently, it had been leaking for quite some time, into the cinder blocks, rotting them away. Which leads us to the water in the basement, that was actually sewage. Wonderful! So there went our money. New sewer pipes and all.

Troy started working on the basement, trying hard to get the water leakage to stop. He got advice from a contractor and they told him to dig down to the bottom of the basement wall on the outside and tar and paper it. So he did. He also put some long conduit pipes on the drainage to lead out away from the house hoping it would pull the rain away from the house, but when it would rain, it flooded, still. Just when we thought it was looking better, Troy finished the rooms and guess what? It all started flooding again, which brings us to a problem we just can't seem to beat and have no money left to hire anyone to help. MOLD! We have been here for four years now. During that four years, we had another child. So five children, two adults. No money. It just saddens me. This was suppossed to be the dream I prayed for. What can I do? I have talked to sereval people seeking help finacially with this problem, afraid that it will lead to extreme health problems for our children. No one seems to know what we can do, other than bleach water, which we do frequently. We also tore out the biggest mold areas and took out all the carpeting. All that money, straight down the drain, along with our faith.

Before we moved here, my son was almost two. He was the sweetest child, and still is, but now he has alot of behavioral issues. I can't help but wondering. I just don't know. Now he is five and has to have medication to help him with his mood disorders along with counseling. Recently I have noticed the children having more sickness, like allergies, ear aches, head aches, so forth. I've had bronchitis, more migraines than ever, so forth. I've never been this sick. I feel like I've failed my family, and I know my husband, who is the patriarch of the family, feels lost. He don't know what to do either. My children sleep in one bedroom, and on the couch. They don't have privacy, and I can't provide that for them. If anyone knows of what we could do, or anywhere we could get help, Please, please, let me know. I am beside myself with this and I really don't know where to start looking. We live in Missouri.  Please help us. Thanks for reading this post.

Wow - I am glad I found this site.  I was beginning to think that I was the only one tha had the feeling of being in "Hell".  I will try to make this brief.  When my 19 year old son decided that he wanted to move home and go to college I was estatic.  He had been headed down the wrong path several years ago and decided to move out at 17.  I knew that he was smart and eventually would get his head on straight.

 But that decision has changed my whole life.  My husband "not my son's father", said that he could not move in with us and in fact that he would not be able to ever step foot in the house again.  So....... What would any mother do ?

 In the last 4 months.... 

1) I have gotten divorced from a 10 year marraige.  That I thought was good.

2) Moved from a home that I had built 3 years ago after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. We moved with our clothes and air mattresses. Nothing that that was in my old house could fit in a small apartment.

3) My 19 year old son entered rehab (Which has turned out to be a GREAT thing). But he is now living in a sober living facility and his income is going to pay his rent & food.

4) My 15 year old daughter has an emotional breakdown and was hospitalized.

6) Just when I thought things were looking up I was robbed.  While my daughter and I were in the apartment.

How much can 1 person take !!!!!!!  It has been so emotionally & finacially draining.  I have had so many medical bills that I am behind in everything else.  If I do not come up with 725.00 for power by Friday we will now be living in the dark.

I do not know what to do. I have never been put in this position before.  We are eating Ramen Noodles for dinner and when there is a birthday party at work that is when I get to have some lunch. And I am worried that all this stress will hurt my health.  I am so far a survivor of cancer and hope to remain so, but I am still worried.

If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it or at least keep me in your prayers !!!!!

I'm a recently divorced 30 year old mother of a 10 year old boy and 7 year old daughter. I've been searching on-line all day for help. I don't want to sound like a sob story. But i need some direction. I'm hoping to find someone who can guide me where I need to be or possible help.

After 11 years in an abusive marriage I left. When I left it was with nothing but my stuff a few of my children's items and my kitchen table. I just wanted out of there. I also couldn't afford a lawyer, so when he filed I had to draw up my own papers and oblige to much of what he requested. I get half of what I should in child support. My credit is shot thanks to his poor money managing when we were married. I'm still struggling to get ahead. Somehow I manage to barely make it each month, but I'm living a month behind finacially. I'm in need of a small loan of 3000. It would allow me to pay a few things off and get a few months ahead. I can budget, otherwise I would not be able to make it the way I currently do. I do have a full time job of keeping children from my house. I can't afford to pay for daycare so this allows me to bring in income and be here for my children when they get home from school. In other words I want to clear my credit and get ahead so I need the loan, but I can't get the loan without good credit. If anyone can help lend or lead me in a direction that can help it would be so great. I just want to get ahead and not stress over being the only parent that's providing a statble home for my children. I do have collateral using my vehicle that has a clear title if needed. I have goals and I cannot obtain them without financial help. I don't want the money given to me. I would like to be able to pay it back. Even with interest.

Life is definetly a true test of survival, and I really feel for so many at this site. I so wish I could help all of you. I to have been where most of these people are, and I have rebuilt my life more than a few times due to the loving assistance of family and strangers. Believe in the fact that life is brutally hard, for even those of goodness and of well hearted. I truly believe that there is nothing more difficult then to try and survive in todays world as a person on there own without partner or family help. It is amazing how so many do though, and with that said we must keep faith that all will be ok some how.... no matter what the turn out or the situation! Good or bad! As bad as that sounds, it is the truth in some way! Although I do not like it at all, I just hope there is a reason! Please stay stronge for those tryin to survive, because quiting can not be much better. Especially for our kids. I believe the hardest part of all this struggling is to get past the stress of not making it through...... but we have to breath deep breaths to stop and analize a solution and not get frustrated and make a wrong decision. I will pray for everyone tonight! May all your prayers come true. I am a believer in possitiveness! Keep your hope alive and stronge. And remember, there is always the fact that we are still alive when others are not...... just keep tryin to stay alive!

The credit card companies have turned their backs on me. There was that time when i really wasnt looking to own a credit card. But after years of sales tactics and persuation, they got me...now they own me. I'm in too deep, i can barely pay them and they keep increasing my interest and charging me fees instead of giving me a way to leverage paying them back...they bury me more in the world of high debt and bad credit.

Now i can barely make ends meet. I asked for their (credit card companies)consideration to lower my interest so i can afford to pay....but all doors shut. I admit, i was irresponsible by being pursuaded to spend money i did not own. A lot of people can relate to my story. Depression, anger, low self-esteem. These are just a few result of being owned by the credit card companies. I am not alone on this and i am sure a lot of people can relate to my experience. Please help me!

Hello.  My name is Ashley Walker.  I live in a small town in West Virginia called Beckley.  I own my own small business and I am also employeed with a home health company.  I have a 2001 Mercury Cougar that is in desperate need of repair.  I believe that I will probably need to have the whole transmision replaced which will cost me around $1500.00.  Unfortunately at this time I am unable to pay this much to have it repaired and if I don't have it fixed soon I will need to replace the car.  I am a very responsible and hard working person.  I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out in this rut in my life.  I would be able to pay this loan back within six months to one year.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and please do consider helping me.

Hi I am 37 Years old and have had many health issues throughout my life at age 34 I received a kidney transplant and now it is failing and I am unable to work I am curently waiting on Disability to go through and have been told it will take about 9 to 12 months and Im sorry to say my Landlord won't wait for that to allow me to catch up. I wouldnt be concerned if it were just myself but my 4yr old girl would have to be struggling in the streets besides me. I do not have any family as my Mother left me with my father at age 3 and my father passed away due to heart attack back in 1987. I have been diagnosed with Lupus and that is what made my kidneys fail, and Since the transplant have had major issues with the anti rejection drugs giving me horrible side effects the worst one being diabeties. If anyone can assist me & my daughter to keep our home trust me you would be a angel to us both. I am in need of $1,500 to keep the landlord from having the sheriff evict us on 11/1/06. and without being able to work I just dont know how to get it If anyone has any agencies that they know might be able to help this also would be apreciated.
